This function allows you to change the currency settings for variables in multiple documents.

In the hierarchy, select the documents to be modified. To select sections of the hierarchy, you can open the context menu for a document and use the menu actions Select document and children or Deselect document and children.

Click the Update Currency Settings button Update Currency Settings button in the hierarchy toolbar to open the tool blade.

Dataflow Manage Data Update Currency blade

Select the required new Currency and the required Real or Nominal setting.

If the Convert Values box is checked then variable values will be re-calculated based on the version currency deck, otherwise only the currency label will be changed. Note: Variables that contains expressions and variables that are mapped to Economics variables will always have their values converted to match the currency settings of their unit.

You can apply changes to all variables, by checking the option Apply to all variables, or you can select variables in the displayed list. The columns for variable 'Prompt' and 'Category' can be sorted using the column ordering function: click in one column header to apply ascending or descending order based on the contents of that column. You can also do two-level ordering by applying ascending or descending order on both columns: in this case use SHIFT-Click when you click in each column header. You can also apply content filters using the filter control in each column header.

Click the Update button to start the update operation.

In the Change Record dialog enter an explanatory comment for the document histories, or select a Revision Tag to be applied to the new revisions in the modified documents. Click Publish to submit the job to the server.

You can use Notifications to monitor the process. Click Export Log in the notification item to get a detailed log, after the job is completed.
